Is Smoking injurious to health

Yes, smoking is injurious to health. It is the large cause of death. Rate of people kill per day by smoking is more than road traffic   accident. I think, smoking is one of the major addiction in youth.  About 90% of lung cancer and coronary heart disease are smoking related. There are some causes why people do smoking more.

First of all, smoking  is the cheapest. Secondly some people do smoking for their pleasure and some for to get rid of their tension . Some people start because of peer pressure. Some people take up smoking to look older and more mature. Others take up smoking out of a sense of rebellion.

when I asked  some current smoker why he/she continues to indulge in such a dangerous activity and he/she replied, because I like smoking. Many Smokers believe they continue to smoke because of their self-destructive attitude.  They actually want to get sick.  Some say they are afraid of reaching old age. Some people smoke because they are unhappy, unsatisfied, nervous, bored, anxious, lonely, tired or just frustrated without their cigarettes.

Smoking is two type; Active smoking and Passive smoking. Active smoking is more harmful than passive smoking. A non smoker can live more than a smoker. According to my opinion smoking is also waste of money .Most smokers spend countless hours during their smoking. it is also waste of time. I think smoking is more than a habit - it is an addiction.

Cigarette ,which is prepared by nicotine is a powerful addictive drug. If  Serum nicotine level falls below the minimum limit in body a smoker experiences drug withdrawal. Sometimes it become tense, irritable and anxious for smoker. To avoid these drug withdrawal, he smokes. The nicotine loss is then replenished and the smoker feels better.

To conclude, I never understand having a worse effect of smoking, many people are still smoking they know very well that Smoking is injuries to health. According to my it would be better if a smoker avoid to become a chain smoker
